The Oatmeal Story

I had to share this from a post I did for my family transportation business:

Customer Service is the Key to our Success! In this economy, Above and Beyond service is expected to obtain and retain clients. Here are two stories that prove our commitment to providing an exceptional experience when working with us.

The Oatmeal Story

Client 1 is an eccentric gentleman who provides a list to his chauffeur of things he needs done once he boards his plane:

Go to Whole Foods and order a steel cut oatmeal with cinnamon and raisins

Go to Starbucks and order a non-fat cinnamon dolce latte

Go to the 24 Hour Fitness and locate the girlfriends car

Leave the oatmeal, coffee and attached handwritten note on the hood of the car at exactly 835am

We made it happen! And she was ecstatic.

Breast Pump Emergency

Client 2 is a busy lawyer whose wife is arriving at SFO at midnight. Her breast pump has broken during travel and she needs a replacement. This is not just any breast pump, this is the hands free deluxe model that runs $400! Our chauffeur went to Target, purchased the pump and had it in the car ready for our guest when she arrived.

I never question, comment or giggle when these requests come in because you just never know what someone is going to need or how important it is to them that it is provided. I can guarantee you these clients are going to remember us and the value added service we provided!

Please contact us if we can assist you with your transportation needs - no request is too big or too small! There’s a reason our clients call us their mobile concierge! www.lnstarlimo.com

My family business Lone Star Limousine was featured in the Wall Street Journal today. We are super excited to be recognized for thinking “outside the box” in this challenging economy. Read the article here http://tinyurl.com/lbo3u9

Flamboyant Productions invites you to join us for Dinner and a Show!

When:  Friday, June 12, 2009

Limousines depart Palo Alto, Milpitas &              San Jose

Where: Eulipia Restaurant &                  Stop Kiss at City Lights Theatre

              6pm Dinner, 8pm Show

What:   Winner of the GLAAD Media Award

A poignant play about the ways, both sudden and slow, that lives can change irrevocably.

A story about the unexpected places love can appear, and the even more unexpected places it can take us, Stop Kiss is sure to get audiences talking. Real-life married couple Veronika Olah and Michelle Beyda bring this vibrantly romantic play to life on City Lights’ stage in a not-to-be-missed production.

When Sara, a young teacher from the Midwest, leaves her boyfriend and family to take an inner city teaching assignment in the Bronx, she’s befriended by Callie, a Manhattan traffic reporter who helps Sara get to know the city. After the two women unexpectedly fall in love, their first kiss provokes a violent attack that transforms their lives in a way they could never anticipate. Throughout Stop Kiss, relationships are explored, formed, and ended. Diana Son elaborates on the depths of human emotion and compassion in this play.

When:  Friday, May 8, 2009

Limousines depart Milpitas

430pm and Palo Alto 5pm

Where: “Little Italy” North Beach

            District, San Francisco

What:   Come experience the real San Francisco and taste one of the culinary and cultural capitals of the world, as you savor the City through your touch, your senses, and your excitement on your leisurely, flat 7-8 block stroll. We’ll start off the evening with champagne and chocolate from one of the top ten chocolatiers in the country. Next, we’ll visit a café where you’ll have the best coffee drinks (or teas, Italian sodas, etc, for non-coffee drinkers) you ever had, and you’ll see how it’s roasted, up close and personal. We’ll also be tasting some local olive oil, in addition to trying several different types of specialty meats. After we sample pastries from one of the best bakeries in San Francisco, chances are good we’ll be hearing lots of blues and jazz as we stroll the beat generation hangouts. For example, we’ll be going to the very place where Francis Ford Coppola wrote the Godfather screenplay and the place where Bill Cosby got his start. We’ll finish the evening with authentic, wood-fired Roman pizza and wine tasting and then back to the limo for your ride home.

OH….MY….GAWD I’d never been to a Bachelor Auction before but since we were co-sponsoring the event, I thought I’d check it out. I grabbed my sister and we headed to SF. There had to be 300+ Divas in the house. We were in the VIP section and it was awesome. The 10 firemen being auctioned off were incredibly handsome and charming. They raised a whole lotta money last night for burn survivors and I am happy to report our Viva La Diva package raised $525 for the cause. Woo Hoo! I will definitely want to participate again next year.  What a great night! For more info www.events.aarbf.org

This Friday, April 24, Viva La Diva and Lone Star Limo are co-sponsoring an event in San Francisco to aid Burn Survivors. To register for this “hotter-than-hot” fundraiser, please visit www.events.aarbf.org
